Pilot draft. This text is being reviewed and may change before Hatud opens to the public.

Hatud connects passengers with accredited tricycle drivers in Kidapawan City. These terms apply when you ride, drive or otherwise use Hatud.

1. What Hatud does

Hatud is a booking service. Drivers are independent operators who hold their own licenses, franchises and vehicles. Hatud checks their documents before they can take rides and can suspend them, but it does not drive or own the tricycles.

2. Your account

  • Use your real name, an email you can access and a mobile number where you can be reached during a trip.
  • Keep your password and sign-in methods to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One account per person. You must be able to enter into a contract under Philippine law, or ride with a parent or guardian’s consent.

3. Fares and payment

  • The fare you see when you book is the fare you pay. It is worked out from the road distance before the trip and does not change on the way.
  • Student, senior citizen and PWD discounts apply when the rider shows a valid ID to the driver at pickup. Without it, the driver may charge the regular fare.
  • A Pakyaw booking reserves the whole tricycle for your group at the amount you offered.
  • You pay the driver in cash at the end of the trip.

4. Bookings, pickup codes and cancelling

  • Your driver starts the trip only after you give them your pickup code. Don’t share it before you board.
  • You can cancel before the trip starts. Drivers can cancel if you are not at the pickup point after they have waited.
  • Repeated no-shows, false bookings or abuse may lead to your account being limited or closed.

5. Riding safely and respectfully

  • Treat drivers and other riders with respect. Harassment, violence and discrimination are not allowed.
  • Don’t carry anything illegal or dangerous, and keep to the seats the tricycle has.
  • In an emergency call 911 first. The SOS button in the app alerts the Hatud team and shares your trip with them.

6. Drivers

  • Drivers must keep their license, franchise or MTOP, and vehicle registration valid, and tell Hatud when anything changes.
  • Drivers charge only the fare shown in the app and record the cash they actually received.
  • Hatud’s service fee is a share of each completed fare. It is payable by the next day through the payment options in the driver app; until earlier days are settled, the driver can’t take new rides.
  • Hatud may suspend a driver who breaks these terms, puts riders at risk or doesn’t settle the service fee.

7. Responsibility

Hatud works to keep the service available and accurate but can’t promise it will always be. To the extent the law allows, Hatud is not responsible for losses caused by a driver, a passenger or events outside its control. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Philippine consumer law.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will show the new date at the top of this page. For important changes we’ll also tell you in the app. Questions or complaints: contact Hatud support through the app.
